Review of Sicko (2007) by Marcus B — 31 May 2011
You can like Michael Moore or you can hate Michael Moore, but you can't say that he's not good at his job. "Sicko", just like its predecesors, serves scorching critique against its target, which this time around is american health service.
For an European, the system in U.S certainly does seem strange and Mr.Moore doesn't miss any opportunity to make it even stranger. Based on that movie alone, it would seem that yanks certainly have a thing or two to learn about that stuff.
However... just like with other Michael Moore movies, be wary of drawing any conclusions based SOLELY on on the stuff he chooses to show you. The guy has a knack for spinning an entertaining tale, but his credibility isn't exactly spottless.
