Review of Sicko (2007) by Jared B — 20 Aug 2013
Sicko is a very interesting documentary about America's health care system and it tackles other systems from different countries; health care being almost free-of-charge and relatively cheap in France, Cuba, etcetera.
This was shown during my Health Economics class and I must say, it really was jaw-dropping and you can't help but feel sad for those patients not being properly taken care of like they're treated as garbage bags.
It's ruthless and inhuman. Michael Moore really made me learn a lot from this startling documentary. More importantly, about what's the reality behind health care systems and how patients are treated in different countries around North America and Europe.
A+.
