Review of Shadow of a Doubt (1943) by Josh S — 08 Jul 2010
One of two Hitchcock films that I wanted to seen and have finally seen (the other being Rebecca which I have not seen). This one is brilliant and the best Hitchcock film I have seen so far this year. A beautifully composed film with great parts from Joseph Cotton and Teresa Wright.
Very suspenseful and with many great elements, including a beautiful ending. Another great film, and one including trains. Masterpiece! I understand why Hitchcock chose this one as a personal favourite.
