Review of Shadow of a Doubt (1943) by John R — 13 Feb 2015
Before I saw Verigo, this was my favurite piece of Hitchcock. From the characters to the camerwork, it really is all there. Even the storyline, has such a strikingly black sense of humour, which is surprising gven the year the film was made.
It's the tye of film that anyne can enjoy. It's undeniably from the 4os, but it has not dated, well worth your time.
