A fine movie, cool story, overall nice camera shots, also, good characterizations, there are a few things that bring it down, though, for example, the over-the-top acting from the Non-Samurai, the bad exposition on the Wife deal with the peasant, the bad action scenes, the obviously outdated effects (they haven't aged well, basically) and some weird dialogue, as well as a pace way too slow for my taste in the last hour and half, over rated.
