Review of Seven Samurai (1954) by Bryant R — 05 Jun 2011
Straight forward and gripping, Samurai Seven masters the balance of drama while maintaining very real and believable characters. Although the ending was a little dissatisfying to this critics idealistic vision, the film stayed true to the spirit of portraying a realistic Feudal Japan.
Kambei is a truly worthy hero.
