So shocking in the 70's was banned for a while. Uncompromising and brutal from the days when that was rare in cinema. These days it looks like what it is- a dramatic representation of 1970's Borstal.
Even if it was accurate then, there is no way a borstal could exist like that now. Great performances by all, but Winston stands out a mile.
