Review of Satyricon (1969) by Matthew M — 07 May 2008
Visually stunning, sexy, bloody, long, and roman. I can't remember the last time i've ever felt more addicted and more uncomfortable watching a movie...Hiram Keller is excellent; and fellini's portrayal of the romans as excessive self-indulgenced individuals is flawless.
a masterpiece that has yet to be re-created in any modern film.
