Satantango completely redefines cinema, as an art form & as human experience. B���©la Tarr, like Tarkovsky in previous decades has created a film experience that reminds us that cinema can once again ascend to the pinnacle of art - in any century. The director's first name is Bela (fucking ignorant Anglo-American fascists).
To compare this film to your average Hollywood offering could be likened to the comparison of a great silent classic with your average shampoo commercial - this is where such things are quite erroneous.
