Review of Safety Last! (1923) by Jeff B — 31 May 2007

Hilarious and very impressive comedy from Harold Lloyd. The end sequence climbing up the building was so entertaining and well made, I loved every moment of it. I heard a rumor that it's being remade, but nothing can compare to this, it's the kind of movie that can't really be remade, unless of course they get someone to actually climb up a building, because if special effects are used, it will lose all of the comedy.

There were a couple of moments I didn't really think were needed (particularly the drunk), but those are just minor, it's really a lot of fun.
