Review of Rumble Fish (1983) by Shelby K — 04 Jan 2010
Awful movie. Every time Rusty got a serious injury no one gave him any help, he just healed miraculously. When he got a pipe to the head they just took him to the beach. No one even put a bandage on him or checked for a concussion. It was so distracting.
This movie did not hit the mark at all. Hint to the director: we don't know what's going on in the character's heads unless you make it known. The characters could have been having the deepest issues ever but I have no idea. There was just a lot of staring and "I don't knows.".
