Review of Rumble Fish (1983) by Warren W — 09 Dec 2010
Innovative and creative way of shooting on Coppola's part. The black and white movie has a lot of symbolism. Good choice on the actors and great job on creating a sense of confusion and feeling of wrongness by painting shadows in different directions.
Good story (S.E Hinton's novel "Rumble Fish"), the atmosphere of the book is clearly present in the movie. Sadly, this movie is underated and didn't do too good when it first came out.
