Have just read the horrifying news that paramount are in negotiations on a possible re-make of this. Why can't they leave the classics alone.
This is one of the greatest horrors ever made, beautifully shot, acted and paced to rack up the tension with the apartment building itself almost a character the black humour in it only adds to the horror.
