Review of Roger & Me (1989) by Rick F — 18 May 2010
When I first saw this in '89 I laughed all the way through. I had never seen a documentary that not only was hysterical, but thoughtful and important. I rented it the other day. First time I've seen it in 21 years and I just felt like crying.
It was depressing. Why? Because we haven't moved on as a society since. This film could have been done in 2009 and it would be exactly the same.
