Review of Rock 'n' Roll High School (1979) by Ray D — 08 Dec 2007
One of the highlights of Roger Corman's long and varied career---it's a high school movie with a plot that revolves entirely around getting tickets to the Ramones. Notable for capturing the band in their prime as well as for its ending---unfortunately, it's doubtful that a movie like this could be made today as a musical comedy--It seems strange to think of 1979 as a more innocent time, but there you go.
