Review of Rhapsody in August (1991) by Bob W — 23 Jun 2008
An interesting inter-generational flim centering upon the Nagasaki bombing. The kids learn of the tragedy of their grandmother's past and struggle to come to terms with it, as well as does their parents.
The final scene, to me, represents the struggle to recapture that past as it slips away.
