Review of Reflections in a Golden Eye (1967) by Audrey-Kim H — 25 Apr 2008
Morlon Brando stars as a repressed homosexual and Elizabeth Taylor is his sluttish wife in this memorable, but not excellent film. The story, albeit slow-moving, has the potential to be excellent, but I guess due to bad editing or compression of the novel caused this film to not live up to its potential.
However, it's an interesting performance from the two megastars, with solid support from Julie Harris and Brian Keith.
