It was a pretty good movie. Jennifer Lawrence was really good in this, but unfortunately her co-stars didn't have the same presence. I liked the opening sequence, it was really in tune with the movie. Now, she starts the movie as a ballerina, just because.
.. there is no other reason for it, sometime into it, you even forget she used to be a dancer. It get's really disturbing in the second act, and a bit of a drag. This is where the lack presence of the actors plays a hard part.
She learns a lot of new seductive tricks, which they spent some time in, but she didn't actually do any of those once she left the "whore house".
