Review of Rebel Without a Cause (1955) by Rick A — 17 Jun 2011
Unlike the films that came after it where the protagonist rebels against society for the sake of it, "Rebel Without a Cause" stands superior mainly due to its memorable portrayal of a rebel who doesn't want to be one.
Rather, he simply wants society to stop excusing him and finally hold him accountable.
