Review of Rampage (2018) by Paula W — 19 Apr 2018

I was excited to see Dwayne Johnson in another fun movie. What I found was this movie was an updated mashup of King Kong, Godzilla and evil siblings that have equal rivals of Despicable Me. The beginning of the movie I was a little confused as it was not clear who the space station was communicating with and when the "virus" hit earth it did seemed to only choose the animals to interact with that we capable of being extremely menancing and not boo boo kitty or tiny chihuahuas.

Johnson did play the role with his dependable zeal, comic charm and sincerity. Sadly, I left the movie three quarters of the way through because the ending was beyond predictibable.
