This film is truly fan tas tic. An absolute belter of a movie that had me in fits of laughter from start to finish. It is about a man who likes to steal babies. His father stole babies before him and made him into a nutjob.
His wife is a dizzy bint who likes buying clocks for men. Brian De Palma director of the seminal movie "Scarface" depicts what it must be like if you are a baby stealing maniac in a compassionate yet lighthearted way.
At times the film makes no sense at all but you are so busy laughing that it does not matter. The look on the womans face of pure annoyance at having been drowned is an all time movie classic. A surprise classic!!!
