Montgomery Clift and Elizabeth Taylor always had amazing chemistry together, even if the movie around them wasn't so great. There isn't much ground covered here that wasn't covered in Gone With the Wind or in Jezebel.
Hollywood had already about played out the spoiled, southern debutante thing. My favourite Clift/Taylor collaboration is still A Place in the Sun. And someone should probably tell Flixster that it's Raintree County, not Country.
