This was truly an inspirational movie. My children and I really liked the movie. Movies that are based on true stories ring a little more true to me than just traditional Hollywood films. There is substance to a movie like, Race.
Race had more to do with just a sporting event that changed the world but also how racial barriers were broken during the time of the 1936 Olympic Games. Knowing that Jesse Owens won 4 Gild Medals amidst the turmoil that was going on in Germany at the times of the games makes the movie all more meaningful to U.
S. and Olympic History.
