Review of PTU (2003) by Sze-To M — 08 Jul 2007
Hmm, you'd think they might have just looked a bit harder. A moody cops and triads film built around a slightly farcical premise. But somehow it works. It takes place over a single night, and has police incompetence, police brutailty, an impressive restaurant stabbing, games arcades, yellow paint, banana peels, and a showdown on Canton Road.
Captures the mood of late-night Tsim Sha Tsui amazingly well.
