Review of Psycho (2007) by Ken S — 02 Sep 2014
Alfred Hitchcock was the man. As such he created some great films...Psycho is one of his best, in a long and quite wonderful career in cinema. The film starts of like a thriller, but takes a sharp turn into horror (it pretty much invented the slasher sub-genre long before Halloween brought it back and made it a full blown genre of its own).
Norman Bates is one of the great movie villains ever created. Bernard Herrmann's score is fantastic. Hitchcock was awesome, and this film is one of his best efforts.
