Just realized what feels off with the ending, a certain absence. Carey Mulligan indeed steals every moment when she is onscreen. Her exceptionally strong performance, the grotesque, chilling but at the same time very funny script, and the shrewd, genre-mixing direction makes this title one of the best movies of 2020.
