Promising Young Woman was beautifully done, a heartbreaking look at the hard truth that so many do not want to hear or believe of how women are looked at and treated. Carey Mulligan gave one of the best performances I have ever seen, she was exceptional such a beautifully powerful and deep performance while also being hilarious.
Laverne Cox, Bo Burnham, Jennifer Coolidge, Clancy Brown, and Alison Brie gave great supporting performances. The writing especially the screenplay was phenomenal. The direction Emerald Fennell took the movie was excellent, the ending was an amazing and shocking twist.
The makeup and hairstyling especially on Carey Mulligan, Laverne Cox, and Jennifer Coolidge was outstanding. The costume designs were spectacular especially the ones wore by Carey Mulligan. The music choices were superb.
An A+ movie.
