Review of Prince of Darkness (1987) by Will D — 22 May 2009
If there's one thing that Prince Of Darkness gets right, it's mood. It has probably the most convincing Satan ever - more so even than Pacino or DeNiro. The whole thing is just saturated with a sense of unconquerable evil.
Certainly the scariest of Carpenter's films, even if it's not the best (The Thing has that honour).
