Again the story's been told a million times, but I like the director uses silence and the things that aren't said out loud in this movie.. the honour of working in the NYPD, the "pride and glory" that comes with the uniform and badge.. the things we're willing to do for our family, friends and the guys who are willing to give their life for you..

I don't know.. for the first time in a very long time, I was actually speechless (in a good way) for a while after seeing a movie.. and that doesn't happen very often anymore. The ones that have this effect are the ones that I usually remember if someone asks for recommendations.
