This kind of films are like gems in the modern cinema, sadly. They captivate you by their story, the dialogue rather than the special effects, especially in the science-fiction genre. The first part of the movie is a pure pleasure to watch and follow the story of John, interwoven with the beatifully shot scenes in the bar.

You are totally enthralled by the storytelling. The second part when the movie goes into full science-fiction it somewhat loses its charm, but still it's the strong movie you'd like to watch more of its kind.
