Predestination is a diverting but flawed brain-teaser. Time travel stories can have difficulty maintaining their internal consistency, and the film, based on Robert Heinlein's short story All You Zombies, crosses logical lines.
Its pacing is slow, giving viewers too much time to guess plot developments while they're waiting for them to unfold.
