Review of Pickpocket (1959) by Pavandeep S — 10 Aug 2008

A fascinating film personally. I loved the shots of the feats of legerdemain performed by the cast. Also, I personally loved the film as a whole, it brought a new perspective to the idea of redemption seen in lots of films especially by Scorsese and even in Coppola.

I admired the way the acting was done, more for display than for emotion and the idea, sparse with no attachment and yet powerful in its force was just amazing.
