Review of Phantom of the Opera (1943) by Larren P — 14 May 2008
Havn't seen this 1943 version that flixter has come up with. The modern version, while not living up to the stage musical, has been done very well. The songs are well sung and there is more detail added to the story line than on stage.
It's a good movie to keep me entertained and keep my love of Phantom going, when the stage show is not in town (or I can't afford to go).
