Review of Phantom of the Opera (1943) by Jack V — 21 Nov 2010
I saw both this film and the 2003 musical film, but decide to write a review about this because, to be honest, I actually like this one better! U probably think I'm crazy for saying this (or for other reasons) but this one clearly shows the phantom in a MORE sympathetic way.
It is not a musical/ it is not a remake of the 1925 film, but it is a truly sad film that I WOULD cry to...if I had any tears to shed. Look up part 1 on YouTube if u are in for a sadder story (in other words- an opera).
