Review of Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018) by Emily H — 25 Mar 2018

When I went into the movie, I was expecting about what I got. The overarching plot of Pacific Rim 1 was never incredible, but it was decent. This movie is about the same. I heavily disagreed with how they handles Mako scenes, but the rest wasn't bad.

I appreciated them showing the complexity of the situation surrounding the main "villain", and I enjoyed the giant robot fights and extreme amounts of property damage. It wasn't incredible or anything to rave about, but its worth seeing if you enjoyed the first one or appreciate some good mindless giant fights.
