Review of Orpheus (1950) by Ellen D — 14 Jan 2009
I watched this movie for a Creative Writing: Poetry college course, and I'm glad I did, for I certainly never would have come across it otherwise. It provided whole new depth to the tragic Greek tale of Orpheus and Eurydice, with twists and turns that were a bit mind-boggling.
Overall though, I must say, this film will both stun and entertain the viewer. Definitely worth watching.
