Review of Opera (1987) by Ben G — 13 Jan 2009
The suspense scenes are surprisingly unsuspenseful, the soundtrack is cheesy dated 80's metal, the plot twists are ridiculous, and the entire thing is an absolute chore to sit through. The exciting style which Argento had perfected on "Suspiria" has completely vanished here - to say this is an average horror movie would be too kind.
If anything, it's far below average.
