Review of Open Range (2003) by Justin T — 05 Aug 2015
I thought that it was a political Satire - that Charley Boss and Boss Spearman represented George Bush and Dick Chaney who invade and destroy the town of Harmonville (Iraq). But then I thought - no, Kevin Costner couldn't have had such a good idea, or the guts to do it.
Comparisons of this movie with Unforgiven are a laugh. Unforgiven was much more profound, and nearly destroyed the Western.
