Visually stunning and a great soundtrack just like Refn's previous attempt with Drive, which I loved. With saying that, there is a major lack of narrative, dialogue, and character development. You just don't care about what's happening and while the performances can be called good, there is not much here for the actors to do.

I'm not necessarily against art films, but this is just too much style over substance.
