Another empty but flashy effort by Refn. Gosling is pretty wasted in another stare-ahead-at-the-camera- only movie that keeps his character from becoming very interesting. Some weird and humorously twisted dialogue from Kristin Scott Thomas.

The score is also interesting and good for the movie (though probably not listenable on its own).
