Review of One Hour Photo (2002) by Nick G — 20 Jul 2010
Mark Romanek is hands down, probably one of the best music video directors in history. Unfortunately, his debut as a filmmaker wasn't as impressive as I had hoped. While the cinematography was gorgeous and Robin Williams' gave probably one of the most convincingly-creepy dramatic performances I have ever seen, the story and other characters were lacking a bit.
If Romanek had bothered to take another half hour and work on the story some more, this would have been a great film.
