A very pretty irish love story dealing with a down on his luck fisherman, who comes across a woman out in the sea, who may or may not be an irish mythological creature know as a selkie. neil jordan scores again with an original, captivating story with great performances from the two leads colin farrell and alicja bachleda as the titular character.
those not versed in the heavy irish accent will need subtitles for this one.
