I don't think one-time-Bond George Lazenby can be blamed for this lackluster entry in the 007 franchise, he's not actually that bad in the role.

I think the main problem lies in the film's awful screenplay, crap story and bad directing which can really be put down to the shake-up of Sean Connery leaving the series.

I believe, however that even if Connery started in this film, it still would have been just as bad.
