Review of Old Acquaintance (1943) by Ashley H — 26 Aug 2016
Just watched this old Bette Davis and Miriam Hopkins film from 1943, and what a gem it is! Based on a play by John Van Druten, it's a story of a lifelong friendship, both writers. Funny, touching, and always entertaining.
Bette Davis, is one of my favorite actresses, second only to Meryl Streep.
