Review of Ocean's Twelve (2004) by Ethan H — 26 Mar 2011
Camerawork and soundtrack was great, but everything else was unbelievably disappointing. Catherine Zeta-Jones was terrible; I think it just comes down to bad acting. The part where Julia Roberts pretends to be Julia Roberts was a little funny but still retarded.
Not only that but some parts of the movie weird me out; sometimes it's almost as if the film itself is self-assured and overconfident and it's rubbing it in your face. I'm also disappointed in the jumbled plot and the fact that it seems to not even recognize the plot of the first installment.
Really the only reason I'm giving this film the rating I am is because of the awesome soundtrack and cinematography, as well as the good performances from the cast that play Ocean's Eleven.
