Review of Now, Voyager (1942) by Dave S — 20 Apr 2010
Helps prove my "1% margin of error" theory. Theory is: there's essentially no such thing as a totally perfect movie, but there are movies that are 99% of the way there and we're willing to overlook the minor flaw and round up; the movie is more or less perfect, discounting that 1% margin of error.
This is the latest example - everything about it is flawless except for the scene with Gioseppe the chauffer in Rio De Janeiro, which starts out embarrassing and soon becomes endless. Other than that though? No complaints.
