Fantastic film. tour-de-force performances from Bette Davis and Gladys Cooper. a very well-written story with romance, psychological drama, comedy, and poignant feel-good moments. also some very interesting and well-done directional choices from the lesser known Irving Rapper.
an overall engaging and solidly entertaining movie.
