Review of Noriko's Dinner Table (2005) by Bill B — 16 Jun 2008
Possibly Sion Sono's most linear narrative, but still bears the odd questions about identity and self that seem to always pop up in his work.
I really enjoyed the film, but would've preferred that it lose about 30 minutes of its over 2 and a half hour (!) run-time, some bits (especially the last 30 minutes) seemed to drag a bit.
Recommended.
