On the eight day, Darren Aronofsky wanted to make a Lord of the Rings Movie, but lacked decent source material or easy access to New Zealand. He shouted from the tops of the tallest LA buildings, "We shall use green screen, CG, Hermione, and a story out of the bible. That'll tide them over." And it was done.
On the ninth day, the Christians were confused and a little angry about this. The LOTR fans didn't didn't have a f**k to give. Darren Aronofsky walked into the sunset with two large bags of money. God looked over all the money they had made, and he saw that it was very good!
