Review of Cast Away (2000) by J-Hound R — 02 Jan 2015

If you are looking for an entertaining survival story look no further. Even though some of the concepts and ideas that were implemented in the story were very much "Hollywoodized", I enjoyed it.

I heard one reviewer say that the film was almost like 2 films put into one. The first one is the main character on the island and the second one is what happened after he left. I think that summarizes this film very well. To me, the overall story line was interesting and easy to follow and by the end of the movie I definitely felt that the main character had accomplished something. I would recommend this film to any Tom Hanks fan or to some one who always wondered what it would be like to be stranded on an island.
